Come to the February, You Are The Media Lunch Club, in Bristol.
There is now more evidence than ever of people and businesses making a stand and owning their space.
Let’s figure out and showcase how we communicate and bring people to your side. We are now seeing more people and businesses building their own space to create loyalty and customers who stay.
You Are The Media is a weekly email, sent every Thursday morning at 6.30am that encourages businesses to own the spaces that are theirs and to build a loyal audience.
This has also been a monthly occasion since May 2016 and also an annual conference, and is now launching in Bristol for 2020. It will be led by the people who live and work in the city. Join Fleur Cook, Hannah Coton and Ben Roberts as your hosts.
There is a community that is growing, why hide behind something that arrives in an in-box.
Stop giving your money to the likes of Google, Facebook and talking to strangers. They do not care about the development of your business. Even worse companies who give it the big ‘I AM’ and don’t live by what they tell everybody else to behave.
WHAT IS THE FEBRUARY TOPIC?
How To Be A Confident Writer, Even If You Got A D At GCSE English
The world of writing doesn’t have to be an uncomfortable place for you and your efforts to get people on your side.
Richard Norton (from Tiny Giant) will share what you need to be doing to help you find your voice and share with others.
Let’s look at:
– Who do you write for, search engines or an audience of people?
– Practical tips such as good headings
– What is a good sentence length?
– Storytelling and creating your narrative
– Long form versus short form content, who wins?
– Headlines for your emails
– What works and what doesn’t work (with examples to share with you)
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING, YOUR LUNCH IS INCLUDED.
THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT. WHILST THERE ARE ALWAYS PEOPLE WHO MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE IT, THERE IS NOW THE WAITING LIST. LEAVE YOUR EMAIL HERE.
