YATM Lunch Club Manchester | Being You

Lunch Club is where small business owners, independents and creative people come together to learn, talk, eat and feel part of something that is bigger than the work we do on our own.

This is not a room where you have to perform, pitch hard or prove you know the most.

It is a place to listen, contribute, meet good people and leave with ideas you can take back into your own work.

For our first Manchester Lunch Club, the theme is Being You and the panel is Dave Harland, Jessica Southworth and Danny Williams.

You don’t have to become louder to belong in the room.

You don’t have to know more, have the biggest following, or arrive with everything figured out.

Being You is about having the confidence to show up as yourself first and your business second.

When people feel they can be themselves, better conversations happen. Trust builds quicker and ideas feel easier to share.

This first Manchester Lunch Club is about creating that kind of space from the very beginning.

A place where people can connect through honesty, shared experience and the work they are trying to build in their own way.

So much of business can make people feel they have to play a part.

Being you is not about oversharing or making everything personal. It is about knowing what you stand for, how you show up and how people experience you.

Lunch Club is a relaxed, panel-led event with good food, conversations and people who want to learn from each other.

There are no slides and no presentations.

Instead, we hear stories from people building, creating and figuring things out. You will have the chance to listen, join in and meet others who are doing the same.

You leave with a connection, a thought, an idea, or the encouragement to keep going.

This is for people who are building something of their own.

You might run a small business, work independently, create content, organise events, lead a community, or be figuring out what comes next.

You do not need to be a marketing expert. You do not need to be the loudest person in the room.

You just need to be open to learning with others and being part of a new Manchester room from the start.

This is the first YATM Lunch Club in Manchester. Every place starts with the people who choose to be there at the beginning.
