The words ‘marketing’ and ‘honesty’ don’t normally go hand in hand together.

In a survey by PR firm Cohn & Wolfe (October 2014), the number one quality that people expect from big brands is to communicate honestly about their products and services.

We have all had a tough time over the past few years, we have all come out other side slightly more cynical about the behaviour of businesses. What we all want are companies who are more open and honest with themselves and with their audience.

A brand today should represent the promises and expectations that they intend to keep. A logo is almost irrelevant.
