You can’t be everything to everyone and end up meaning nothing. How can you be recognised as a influential in an area that you believe in and the leading information provider? You need to serve a niche and understand the person who buys from you.
It’s not about 18-40 year olds, students/women, AB1s. You have to define people, personality, attitude and insights.
Many marketers use demographic data to define their target market. However demographic data does not provide insights into the emotional angle for who is buying your product.
